I guess I made it to the goal I set. I hoped Kookie would be with me for the eclipse, but.. n I met a spunky cute girl n thought, she might fill the empty slot.. goofed that up too.
My wife died the day before her birthday in 2010 and that launched my photo adventure.
I inteded to keep it up in my 80s. On the 22nd was my last year.
As I am typing it, at 12:18 I am 81 so won't set for any more goals or hope for a photo connection ..
Not just with my camera but I also took pics of people with their cameras .. at the very end I met a couple that let me take my time and try different things.. good thing, I forgot my camera that had the light .
The pic with the others in the background was just part of em so I didnt add it. A few were fuzzy, I don't know what I have until I get home and put em on the computer.. n make stuff big

Hot but finally got froggy enough to go to Mt P. My BD is sunday so I might get a visitor, if not I might make it.
Got another a65.. (used $500) n practiced on Puparonia.

Who writes these messages in the sand never guess it is recorded n pasted on my sites, it will likely still be there when they r gone.
Just took pics of these areas thinking I might photoshop someone in em
Saw this cute puppy n pals
These guys were doing a picnic n I asked em for a shot, later told em the best place is on the north end, no trees or bushes and a big flat area if they wanna sit on the other side.

I got Puparonia to play in the pond a bit but not swimming, then did a panorama b4 going up the trail
I think I did pics for 3 others with their cameras.. n a few with mine.
One couple was pretty froggy n let me adjust the camera for a bit to get the best shots.
Walking back to the south end, I had to move to remove the shadow on the side of those guys faces.
A girl n her guy came with a puppy like Puparonia, just took a couple of em n picked this one.
Took a pic of a drone n pasted Puparonia in it.
On the way I saw a girl n her mom and took a couple of em. almost forgot I asked a family of about 15... If I dont ask so many people will come up on mt p and never get a pic together... but I bet, all the pics I have taken of a group togerher is one of their keepers
Before leaving I took pics of another couple with their cameras.
Getting close to my last goal in my photo adventures, ready for the mother ship to come n take me back to my planet 😋

Took a package back to ups n stopped at Krogers, Kookies BD n so I bought some hostess cupcakes thinking someone I knew might be on top.. not the ones I really kind of know what ever that means but the first batch sung happy BD to Puparonia.
One of em wanted to do a pic with the city n the back ground.. n I told em do a couple my way first, with the sun dim, got a pretty good pic of their faces... then, with me up on the rock at post 32, higher I got their background.. using flash and shooting downward to bring out the height.
.Did a few for 3 girls but forgot to ask em so I could get a couple for my camera.
Saw this guy taking a pic of the sky n asked if I could add him in a shot.
Hmmm have I been doing it that long..
I worked on reflection that I forgot to do when taking the pic. Not the bestus but ok
.These girls asked me to do pics for em. I was thinking about asking em but wasn't sure n they gave Puparonia some pets too :)
.Sky not great but I captured pics for this couple. When people are on top of Mt P with pals or a mate, I am sure most of the time I captured a pic they would like.
Last Pumpkins of the night .. sky not great but I stretched the colors a bit.

Then I spotted the couple sitting down on the rock, got em there then got em to sit on top.. such a great pic.. couple more but I picked this one
Spotted a girl down on the rock n asked for a pic.. a bit far away for flash magic so did one then got closer
Took several PERFECT shiloutte then with flash n the cool sky.
Before leaving these boys talked to me guess I had taken their pics br
The couple with the blue sky n the girl, hope they find these pics.
On the way back I asked another couple.. but said she was one of my fb pals.
Pretty good day, got the exercised done too

Thinking you are Peter Pan but have the body of Rip Banwinkel
Decided to come up the back way and got lost. On my hands n knees in places and had to crawl under some giant rocks with Puparonia to get to the next level, trying to get to the top.
On narrow edges and deep dropoff's, not wanting to fall and holding the leash n pup, I got to this place to find there was no way to go and had to go back.
On my hands n knees crawling up steep places in a couple areas.
The last time I was here was around 1960 with my high school pal.. John n others I grew up with are all gone now.
Almost there I could see the top through a narrow opening. Squirming up trying to find a foothold, almost out of strength some rest and tied Puparonia's leash to a bush.
After I finally made it, I went to find some young guys to help me get her the rest of the way up .
